I had a great day at the Saturday Market in Anchorage, Alaska today. It was my first time selling at a local event and it was a good experience :) I sold quite a few items. Very exciting!

I have two more little birds to go for the Saturday Market this weekend. I have quite the flock :)

I’m teaching a class on how to make this crochet purse I finished recently. The pattern is called “crochet trio” by Lily Chin. It turned out very cute in the linen concerto by Plymouth Yarns.

Anonymous said: Know any good crocheting blogs? (I crochet and I love your blog) I'm working on 2 blankets and a scarf right now, all I know is one basic crocheting stitch

I follow a few crochet blogs that I can recommend to you. They are mostly cute stuffed animals and other cute things I like. These are it: (http://gamingurumi.tumblr.com), (http://podkins.tumblr.com), (http://nerdycrochet.tumblr.com).

I can’t stand how much I love this yarn and these colors. This is the Malabrigo sock yarn. Who knows what it’ll grow up to be!

My brother’s blanket is finished. It’s finished dimensions are 78”x48”. The yarn used was Cascade 128 Superwash. I alternated garter and double seed stitch, interchanging with each added color.

My monster of a blanket is almost finished, thank goodness. On the last color. I can get back to knitting smaller projects and posting more after this :)
