Yarn Pick of the Week

Week 13 - Rowan: Fine Lace

Rowan fine lace is made of 80% baby suri alpaca and 20% fine merino wool. It’s soft and dyed beautifully giving finished products a rustic look.

This is going to be the final week of Yarn Pick of the Week. I am gonna focus on posting finished projects and making patterns again.

Yarn Pick of the Week
Week 11 - Blue Sky Alpacas: Metalico
This week I bring you Metalico by Blue Sky Alpacas, a half and half yarn mix of alpaca and silk. It’s got beautiful sheen, a drape not much can beat and it incredibly smooth. And not to mention, it’s all undyed :D My favorite.

This girl that came in today designed her own “Katnis cowl” and I think she did a great job on it.

Yarn Pick of the Week

Week 12 - Cascade: Alpaca Lana Doro

This yarn contains 50% alpaca and 50% wool, giving it a buttery softness and great shaping in finished products. Also, when you felt it it looks a lot like cookie monster’s body. It’s by far a favorite by Cascade yarns.
